I'm Khadijat Afolabi — a professional accountant and bookkeeper with over five years of experiencehelping startups and small businesses keep tidy records, produce accurate reports and make decisions grounded in real numbers.

My work sits at the intersection of bookkeeping, financial reporting, data management, budgeting, bank reconciliation, general ledger, payables and receivables and audit assistance. Over the last five+ years I've supported clients in oil and gas, ecommerce, confectionery, entertainment and telecom with monthly closes, reconciliations, budget preparation and audit engagements.

I work primarily in QuickBooks Online and Sage Evolution, and rely on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for the analysis and reporting that lives outside the ledger. I am FMVA certified and progressing towards the ACA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
